School Saving Scheme - Naas Credit Union

Naas Credit Union has partnered with a number of local schools to create savings schemes for pupils. The idea behind the schemes is to help children to develop an early savings habit, and to begin to establish a good history with their local credit union. Credit Unions were historically set up so that community members could work together financially for the benefit of all.

As well as the obvious benefits for the pupils, there are benefits for the schools involved. Naas Credit Union has committed to making an annual donation (minimum €500 per school) based on a percentage of the funds saved by the pupils in the scheme.

The schools currently operating savings schemes are:

- Scoil Linbh Iosa, Ballycane

- Kilashee Multi Denominational School

- Sallins National School

- Caragh National School

- Rathmore National School

- Scoil Bhride, Sallins Road, Naas

- Ballymore Eustace National School

If you would like your school to be involved, please contact Patricia Russell at Naas Credit Union for more information:
